🔍 What’s the paper about?
The paper presents an energy model based on System Dynamics to explore the long-term environmental and systemic effects of shifting industrial feedstock production from fossil fuels to electrolytic hydrogen.
Key highlights of the paper include:
- overview of current and future use of hydrogen
• description of the model, parametrisations, and assumptions
• set up of six different transition scenarios
• policy recommendations addressing the utilization of hydrogen as a feedstock in industrial processes
Check out the full paper to discover the outcomes of the simulations and learn how this research will be further developed within HYDRA.
Congratulations to the University of Valladolid team for this significant contribution to the scientific community and for enhancing HYDRA’s impact on European hydrogen research!
