Rossella Urgnani, Technical Coordinator of the HYDRA Project, participated in the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Conference 2026, held in Capri, Italy, contributing to a key discussion on the future of hydrogen technologies and their role in Europe’s energy transition.
The event brought together leading experts, researchers, technology developers, infrastructure operators, and representatives of European research and innovation projects to discuss the latest advancements in hydrogen production, transport, storage, and utilization.
During the conference, HYDRA was featured alongside several Horizon Europe projects working to accelerate the deployment of safe, efficient, and sustainable hydrogen solutions across Europe, including HYWAY, CANDHY, PilgrHYm, SHIMMER, THOTH2, H2FlowTrace, and MetNH3Energy. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, share project results, and explore synergies among initiatives addressing common challenges in the hydrogen value chain.
Rossella Urgnani highlighted HYDRA’s ongoing contribution to advancing hydrogen infrastructure monitoring and safety, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between research projects, industry stakeholders, and network operators to support the large-scale integration of hydrogen into the European energy system.
The HYDRA consortium is proud to collaborate with several of the projects represented at the event, demonstrating how coordinated efforts at the European level can foster innovation and accelerate the achievement of climate neutrality objectives.
