Event Recap: HYDRA Project Participated in the Hydrogen Emissions and Environmental Impacts Workshop in California
We are pleased to share that the HYDRA Project successfully participated in the prestigious Hydrogen Emissions and Environmental Impacts Workshop, held on September 16-17, 2024, at the McDonnel Douglas Engineering Auditorium at the University of California, Irvine.
This international event brought together governments, industry, and environmental stakeholders to coordinate efforts in understanding and mitigating the potential atmospheric impacts of hydrogen emissions.
Rossella Urgnani, Technical Coordinator for the HYDRA Project, represented our team at the workshop.
Her participation highlighted the importance of the HYDRA Project in advancing technological innovation in hydrogen management and its environmental impact.
Urgnani actively engaged in technical sessions that focused on crucial topics such as hydrogen emissions detection and quantification, their climate impact, and mitigation technologies.
The two-day event featured a comprehensive agenda filled with scientific and technological contributions.
The first day explored hydrogen behavior and its relationship with climate change, while the second day focused on detection and mitigation technologies.
This event provided a significant opportunity to identify R&D gaps and prioritize next steps in the field.
Stay connected for insights and outcomes from the project.
